Providing support to children and young people in education​

Our educational psychologists work to protect the interests of those with Special Education Needs and Disabilities or Additional Learning Needs

These may include:

  • Communication difficulties including delayed language skills.

  • Complex needs such as Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and ADHD.

  • Emotional, sensory, physical and /or medical needs.
     

Our experienced practitioners will work closely with schools and families to provide bespoke educational assessments of a child’s unique needs to deliver expert advice and we are able to:

 

  • Offer independent educational assessments of a child’s educational needs.

  • Report within Special Educational Need and Disability (SEND) Tribunals.

  • Consider a child’s mental health and developmental difficulties.

  • Consider attachments, life-events such as seperation and loss, intellectual ability and past experience of school.

  • Effectively liaise with the parents and teachers to fulfil a child’s educational needs.
