Autism Assessments, Diagnoses and Ongoing Therapeutic Work
Our specialist clinical psychologists welcome referrals for adults and children for autism assessments and ongoing family support and therapeutic work.
We conduct multi-disciplinary paediatric autism assessments and online adult assessments. Our reports offer a diagnosis and recommendations for future work.
As an adult, you would be assessed online by clinical interview which will take between 5-6 hours, usually in two separate sessions. The psychologists are used to assessing clients who feel they have other conditions such as mood disorders which may be of long standing and the psychologist will read any documentation you think will be helpful.
WRPP can also offer you a screening appointment if you are not sure if you want a full diagnostic assessment. The screening takes 90 minutes face to face and include a written letter which you can then take to their GP to aide an NHS referral if you wish – or to any other appropriate provider.
The cost of the screening is £325
The cost of the full assessment is £1300
If you have an initial screening and then decide to go onto the full assessment then the cost of the screening is deducted from the assessment so you would only pay £1300 in total.

Our educational psychologists will assess to support children and young people within their school setting and will write EHPC reports and reports for Tribunals. WRPP is often contacted by parents as well as schools and Local Education Authorities for this type of work.
