Clinical Psychologist 

Dr Rebecca Mount (DClinPsy, PhD, BSc) is a chartered Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of experience working with children, families and young adults. Dr Mount has expertise in working with children in care, adoptive families, and individuals with complex trauma and attachment difficulties.

​Core areas of expertise:

  • Dr Mount draws on a range of psychological approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT), Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) and solution-focused approaches 

  • Specialist work with children in care 

  • Support for a wide range of difficulties including trauma, PTSD, self-harm, anxiety, depression, personality difficulties, and the impact of abuse and neglect
